My analysis of Georgian Dream’s systematic dismantling of Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic institutional ties was cited in Euractiv, the leading European Union policy publication. The June 2025 piece by journalist Alexandra Brzozowski covers the closure of Georgia’s state-run NATO and EU Information Centre — a body that had operated for two decades on Tbilisi’s Freedom Square. I argued that each such move should be read as a deliberate signal to the West, and that Georgian Dream would simultaneously “intensify anti-Western propaganda, promote China as an ideal role model, and engage in relentless gaslighting of the population to confuse and demoralise the public.”
